Oh Valentine

To all my single ladies, we survived another Valentine's day! To all my not so single ladies, I got you go diamonds! No matter what the situation I hope you had a great day!
I always say just because you're single doesn't mean you have to be miserable that day. I love so many people and my family bought me things and that's what matters!

Plus, I made some super cute Marhsmallow pops! Totally kid approved!

Please try these! They are awesome and so much fun (and EASY) to make! Marshmallows, candy melts and all the fun toppings!

My class at church loved them! Along with their fun crafts and bags full of candy!

And that's how this single lady.       celebrated Valentine's Day.
                 How about you?

Another Project

On these wintery days when I'm stuck in the house I put my Pinterest boards and creativity to work! Today I made a phone case with a case I got at the Dollar Tree! I had some rhinestones but if you had to buy some it would still be a cheap project! All you need is a little hot glue, a phone case and some gems and you're set!

What's Poppin' ?

Jalapeno Popper Stuffed Mushrooms

Just a simple recipe that my mom and I came up with today! If you're not into jalapenos you can easily replace them with something else!

What We Used:

1 pkg fresh mushrooms

1/3 pk cream cheese, softened

Tamed Jalapeno Slices

Shredded Cheddar Cheese

*You don't have to stick with these ingredients.
You can always add or take away, or even use different ingredients!

Prep:
Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
Clean mushrooms thoroughly and remove stems. Set aside.

Next, take the jalapeno slices and give them a quick chop.
We used about 6-8 slices, but you can add more or use less.

After you jalapenos are ready, mix them with the cream cheese.

Once mixed, the mushrooms are ready to be stuffed and topped with cheddar cheese
and placed in a lightly greased baking dish.

We filled ours pretty full, and there was still mixture left over.

Bake for 15 minutes and enjoy!

Try them and tell me what you think!

Vera Bradley Student Agenda Review

My first  time purchasing a Vera Bradley agenda and I used the reviews to help make my decision so I thought I'd return the favor!
The largest photo is the front cover which is like a thin plastic material. This agenda includes a ruler, important day stickers (club meetings, midterms, lab days, birthdays, girls nights, etc.), a schedule tab with 4 semesters, each day and times from 7:00 am-9:00 pm, note pages with every month, a full month calendar and a break down of each day. It also includes a record page with phone numbers to airlines, credit cards, car rentals and hotels with the option to write your own. There is an elastic band attached to the back that helps hold it together nicely.

I ordered the 13 month agenda but the student agenda also comes in a 20th month version. I love this planner so much! It allows me to organize and keep track of so much!

One thing to note is that the months have different Vera prints, not just the front cover. The 13 month student agenda does not have a folder flap. These may be things you want to think about before you purchase it.

Hope this helped with your decision of purchasing a Vera Bradley Student Agenda!

The Ugliest Lamp

I love finding good deals on old items and turning them into something beautiful. So when I came across this ugly lamp for $2.00, I had a vision!
I used printed duck fabric from Hobby Lobby for the shade and hot glued in on.
Then I painted the base grey.
I'm so pleased with the turn out!

The Start of Something New

A new blog. A new year. A new outlook.

Now that Christmas has come and gone it's time to think New Year's resolutions. We all make a list every year and some never happen. I've already been thinking about my list and some resolution solutions. One think I would like to do is be more positive and grateful with a new outlook. While searching the almighty pinterest website I came across a gratitude book and thought how perfect! I even got a jump start by already purchasing my notebook. I'm going to get a little crafty and use scrapbook paper on each page just to add personality and color. I thought it would be a great way to remember that even on our bad days, there is always something to be grateful for. So here's the start! I can't wait to starting writing blessings in here!

Please share any resolutions and solutions you may have!

Make this new year what you want it to be, and do it with love
